Meet Brian Meagher
Livonia is Home. Serving it is Personal

My name is Brian Meagher. I’m not a lifelong politician. I’m a dad of three, a husband, and someone who believes city leadership should reflect the everyday people it serves.
I’ve spent my career helping small nonprofits solve big problems—designing systems that work, making smart use of limited resources, and leading with both heart and accountability. I know how to ask the right questions, listen deeply, and make decisions based on real data, not just good intentions. I’m comfortable navigating budgets, coordinating teams, and building long-term plans that actually get implemented. I care about outcomes, not just activity.
Whether I’m helping a community recover after a disaster or guiding an organization through its next phase of growth, my approach is always the same: strategic, steady, and people-first. Those are the same skills I’ll bring to Livonia City Council.

Why I’m Qualified to Serve Livonia
✅ Lifelong Livonian – I was raised here, I’m raising my own family here, and I understand the values, needs, and concerns of our community.
✅ Zoning Board of Appeals Member – I currently serve on Livonia’s Zoning Board of Appeals, gaining hands-on experience with city planning, resident feedback, and development decisions that impact neighborhoods directly.
✅ Small Business Owner – I run a strategic consulting firm that supports nonprofits in securing funding and building sustainable operations — experience that translates directly to responsible budgeting, planning, and accountability in city government.
✅ Parent and Homeowner – As a father of three and a homeowner, I’m personally invested in the safety, schools, and services that make Livonia a great place to live.
✅ Strategic Problem-Solver – I’ve spent my career helping mission-driven organizations navigate tight budgets, high-stakes decisions, and long-term planning — skills I’ll bring to City Council from day one.
✅ Community-Focused – I believe in thoughtful, transparent leadership that brings people together and puts community before politics. I’m here to serve, not to climb.
